Kakiage tempura Don
shrimp and onion are mixed

  

Kakiage is a kind of tempura which seafood and some vegetables are mixed in tempura batter, and deep-fried.
This is shrimp and onion are mixed.
 It is a put it on lice.





 Ingredients:
  •     Onion slices...1~2 cup
  •     cut shrimps 1/2 cup
  •     Pastry flour...1 cup
  •     Potato Starch...1/2 cup
  •     Egg yolk...1
  •     Solt or Sugar...1 tsp
  •     Vegetable oil for frying
  •     1 cup ice water
  •     kitchen paper
 Preparation:
 

Put Pastry flour and Potato Starch in the bowl and mix lightly.
(If you use sweet tempura sauce than add 1 spune of solt.If you use solty tempura sauce than add 1 spune of Sugar.)






Add an egg yolk and ice water into the bowl. Mix all together.



After add onion slices and cut shrimps into the bowl and mix together. 

Take a scoop of the mixture and put onto kitchen paper.
Shape the piece to a circule, using chopsticks or a cooking tong. 



Put the kakiage with the kitchen paper together into the oilpot.

Wait 2 second and after turn the kakiage and remove the kitchen paper.

make small holes into the kakiage to develope a better taste.
Deep-fry until both sides are browne. 




Drain and shake of the oil and quickly add some ice water on the kakiage to make a more crunchy outside.






put it on hot lice.
